πŸš€Overview

CosmoFleet

CosmoFleet is an idle expedition game built on Solana πŸͺ™. Players command a fleet of ships πŸ›Έ, send them on timed expeditions to one of five planets πŸͺ, and earn $COSMO for successful runs. The core loop is deliberately simple β€” acquire ships, launch them, wait, collect β€” so the depth comes from decisions (which ship, which planet, when to relaunch) rather than from active twitch gameplay.

We chose an idle/expedition format because it fits how people actually check in on a crypto-native game: a few minutes to launch ships, then come back later to collect. It rewards planning and patience over constant attention, and it keeps the on-chain and server load predictable.

Ownership in CosmoFleet is meaningful, but it's worth being precise about what that means today. Ships are not Solana NFTs β€” each one is a database-backed inventory record tied to your connected wallet address. That's an honest trade-off: it makes the game fast and free to play (no per-action transaction fees or mint costs), at the cost of ships not yet being freely transferable on-chain assets. Your fleet is real in the sense that it's persistently yours, tracked server-side against your wallet, and it's what the peer-to-peer Marketplace already lets you trade β€” it's just not minted as an NFT today.

Every game-critical decision β€” ownership, expedition outcomes, reward math, item drops, and box payment verification β€” happens server-side πŸ”’. Nothing a client submits (a rarity, a planet result, a token amount) is ever trusted directly.
